Final Idea

this video is me speaking out my idea to sum up music video is some what like a documentary and shows how a dance group gets ready for a performance, this includes them learning the step, practising, not getting the steps, having a good time etc, all of which will be in black and white. halfway through the song it will then show the actual performance and this will be in colour, the camera will be around the dancers to involve the audience and make them feel like they are performing along with them. This part will be in colour.

In Bollywood music videos it is very rare to see a real life band or an artist who is singing the song this is because most Bollywood songs are a part of a film and therefore the actors in the film will be dance to the music and lip sync to the words.

In music videos in Bollywood are not always seen to be joyful and dancing and filled with colours. There is a verity of different type of music video, the most common is a love story which is seen in through one song, a dream sequences. Bollywood music video tends to show the emotion with a character is feeling at the time of the film.

Those how compose and sing the song tend not be in the video some instead the main production artist or the singe is present when promoting the film. However the norm India is to release the album from the film a few weeks before the film as this helps to advertise the film. Main stream film will have director the main actor in the film and possibly the producer of the film. Something the actors dance to a song which tents to the song which makes the album poplar.

Production Log

okay so was just watching tv and an idea stuck to me, why dont i have a videos showing how the song was made for example show the dancers rehersing, and havuing fun, showing what happenes before they go on stage, this could be in balck and white the right at the end show all the dancers on stage just about to dance then the music video ends there. i think this would be very differnt yet a fun cool interesting concept. however it would be hard to shoot as i would need my dancers to be completly natual to make the video effective.
